History

Indian Society of Oncology was established in 1983 by visionaries and stalwarts in oncology in India at that time.

ISO has been fostering development of oncology in India by knowledge sharing within and cross speciality.

ISO conducts every year its annual conference.

ISO conducts alternate years joint conference with ISMPO.

Every 4 years ICC (Indian Cancer Congress) is conducted which is a joint conference of ISO, ISMPO, AROI and IASO. 1st ICC was conducted at Delhi in 2013 and 2nd was conducted at Bengaluru in 2017 and 3rd was conducted at Mumbai in 2023 and We will update Location/city of 4th ICC on website as soon as possible once decided by the committee.
